Stanley

Stanley

Staff Supervisor/Client Welcomer/Head Food Inspector

Stanley was brought to us 13 years ago on a cold blistering winter afternoon. He was a young fella found near a dumpster, just looking for some scraps and a nice warm place to settle down. Growing up was a bit rough for him, but with the help of his food inspection skills, he put on a couple of pounds in no time. Today, he lives a comfortable lifestyle of napping, eating treats, greeting clients, and keeping the mice away. He loves to start the day with a fast sprint down the hallway, welcoming everyone as they come in to work for the day and then recovering with a morning nap in his cat bed. He enjoys teasing dogs when they come in, loving on kittens that visit us, and begging for catnip. When Stanley is not busy with his daily schedule, he likes to play catch, ignore clients when they call after him, and enjoy some food samples that are at his disposal. His favorite foods include chicken nuggets, chicken, turkey, and ham.

Chowder

Chowder

Assistant to the Staff Supervisor

Chowder was brought to us about 3 years ago as a lost kitten. Chowder has grown up to be a very loving and affectionate boy, who loves to play and nap with Stanley. Today he lives a very comfortable lifestyle in the clinic, where he has numerous places to nap, always a free hot meal at a moment’s notice, and plenty of toys to keep his small cat brain occupied. Unlike Stanley, Chowder does not have many responsibilities around the clinic. He is pretty much a free-loader and just does what he pleases. He goes crazy for cat nip, especially rolling around in it, loves watching shiny spots on the walls, and is always looking for trouble. When he is not occupied with his favorite hobbies, he is seeking attention from his co-workers where he will give an occasional love bite and then will retreat for the afternoon to take a nice warm cat nap in a cupboard of blankets.
